Announcing Confide for iPad

We are huge iPad fans, but we also know the majority of iOS usage happens on iPhones. So it made sense to focus our efforts on providing a great mobile experience first. Our iPhone app previously ran on iPad, but for a messaging app with keyboard input, you really want an iPad optimized experience. This is probably why a Confide iPad app has been one of the most requested features we hear from our customers. We are excited to finally fulfill this request today with the launch of Confide for iPad.

Confide is now a universal app on iOS, designed for both iPhone and iPad. We’ve optimized the app to support all iPad screen sizes from the iPad mini to the 12.9" iPad Pro. And the app supports iPad specific features as well, including Split View, Slide Over, and keyboard shortcuts.

Confide for iPad will be a familiar experience for existing users. Just create a message and send, and read a message by “wanding” your finger over the bricks. This unveils a sliver of the message at a time for maximum protection. Confide for iPad supports text, photos, documents, audio messages and stickers for 1-to-1 and group messaging. Like on all Confide platforms, messages sent on Confide for iPad are end-to-end encrypted, disappearing and screenshot-protected. After a message is read once, it disappears forever. It cannot be forwarded, saved, printed, or archived.
